A call to arms!
This is a Continental Line, British Brigade, and Brigade of the American Revolution sponsored event.
It will be big! It will be filled with activities! It will be fun!
The Fixed Regiment of Spanish Louisiana plans on fielding both Infantry of the Line and the cannon. The cannon needs a minimum crew of 5 and we would like to field at least 10-15 infantry.
There will be a period tavern set up adjacent to the camp areas that will be open to reenactors for our Saturday night jollification, with games, drinks, and good cheer. The tavern will be manned by reenactor distaff during the day interpreting for the public, with tavern games, and perhaps some light refreshments.
Please send an email to email@example.com by October 10, 2013 to let us know if you are coming. Please put "Battle of the Hook" in the subject line and indicate in your email if you are infantry, artillery or distaff and whether you plan on staying in a hotel or in camp.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
